Newton's 3rd Law of Motion

This week an earthquake trembled the Mid-Atlantic states, causing wide spread damage, including creating cracks in the Washington Monument and tumbling parts of the National Cathedral. This coming weekend, hurricane Irene will visit this area, and is expected to double punch the same area.
I grew up quoting, "Life is Consciousness," "We reap what we sow." And from this viewpoint, it seems Nature is now following these true sayings. For proof, consider how we have heard constant politicizing from our national legislators and media pundits alike, creating frustration, deadlock, and missed opportunity when we should have heard governance and the majority rule. The spin and reversion of reports has twisted facts to the point our moral compass has gone on the blitz, accepting as SOP lies and intentional manipulation. In this atmosphere of  exhaustion and void of straight truth, the country -- which was first settled and founded for religious freedoms -- has moved away in mass from all religion, which use to feed our collective moral compass and give us strength in times of trouble. Many younger citizens only know "God" as part of a social media exclamation or advertising slogan -- OMG!
Emmet Fox, New Thought author and mega-metaphysical lecturer of the 1930's, when the country was recovering from another Great Depression, brought on by financial house schemes and war, told the audience "Life is Consciousness". He was telling them that however they perceived their current circumstances, so they were. Henry Ford worded this thus, "Whether you think you can, or can't, you're right."
Our thoughts (energy-emotion charged beliefs) determine our mood, how we see the world around us, or even if we see the world around us. Mind is creation and we can choose to create from our nature of Love or it's opposite.
If "Life is Consciousness", at what cost have we wallowed in uncompromising, separatist actions in enduring the gridlock in the Hill's governance? Does the pundit spin and hidden agenda posturing have a greater cost than just to our way of governance, but our environment as well? And what have each of us contributed to this folly? What words come out of our mouths, what fears invade our hopes and desires?
I guess few really see Michael Ende's "Neverending Story" as more than a child's tale. So many aren't considering that our environment, the planet upon we ride through space, might be communicating with us -- even responding to our mass emo-energy charged thoughts, words, actions.
As we close the radio program each week: You are the thinker of the thoughts that shape your world; think wisely.
